Johnson Controls is seeking a Coil Builder for the 3rd shift in York, PA. This full-time, on-site role offers a pay range of $22.96–$26.44 per hour plus a $1.50 shift premium.

You will assemble coils, identify correct parts from specifications, label coils, and document daily hours while maintaining safety protocols. Ideal candidates have prior machine operating experience, read a tape measure, and can work in a team-driven, safety-focused environment with opportunities for cross-training and

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Read and write English.
• Knowledge of company safety policies.
• Prior machine operating experience required.

Responsibilities

• Identifies proper parts to complete assemblies by reading specification sheet.
• Assembles parts to specification.
• Builds frame; installs fins, tubes, hardware, and other purchased parts into coil body per specification
• Correctly labels coils with build day and Mfg #.
• Moves and repositions coils to the expansion area using cranes.
• Completes appropriate paperwork including quality sticker and daily hours.
• Inspect coils for defects and reworks or disassembles if needed.
• Uses basic hand tools such as pliers, wrenches and hand drills.
• Trains new or existing employees as necessary.
• Wears all required PPE and follows safety rules.
