Job summary

Marsh seeks a Client Insurance Advisor in Austin, TX for a hybrid role requiring in-office presence at least three days per week. You will manage proof-of-insurance processes, issue COIs and Auto ID cards, and ensure regulatory compliance while delivering top-tier client service.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in insurance administration, a Property & Casualty broker license, ACORD familiarity, and strong communication skills to coordinate with underwriting, billing, and policy administration

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in insurance administration, risk management, or certificate issuance.
• Active Property & Casualty broker license (or ability to obtain within 90 days).
• ACORD certification or familiarity with ACORD forms preferred.
• Bachelors degree, preferred.
• Understanding of auto insurance policies, coverages, and endorsements.
• Proficiency with policy administration systems, CRM tools, and MS Office (especially Excel).
• Strong written and verbal abilities; able to simplify complex insurance concepts.
• Ability to build and maintain strong broker relationships.
• Commitment to proactive service, quick issue resolution, and client satisfaction.
• Ability to handle high-volume requests with accuracy and composure.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, verify, and issue COIs, Auto ID cards, and other required proof of coverage.
• Serve as a trusted advisor across multiple touchpoints (phone, email, portal messaging).
• Deliver professional, timely, client-friendly communications.
• Validate policy details against internal systems and address variances.
• Collaborate with underwriting, billing, and policy administration teams to resolve discrepancies.
• Audit issued COIs to ensure accuracy and correct errors.
• Maintain documentation, templates, and compliance checklists.
• Stay current on regulatory updates and client service expectations.
• Manage escalations related to complex client programs with a solutions-focused approach.
