Job summary

Infinite Computer Solutions is seeking a Cognos Administrator for the Medicaid EDW. This role ensures reliable delivery of operational, analytical, and federally mandated reports to state agencies, CMS, and internal stakeholders while maintaining HIPAA compliance.

You will install, configure, monitor, and support IBM Cognos Analytics environments across Development, Test, UAT, and Production, including security, performance tuning, and change management.

Qualifications

• 5+ years administering IBM Cognos Analytics or Cognos BI.
• Strong Cognos architecture, security, and deployment knowledge.
• Proficiency in SQL and relational data models.
• Experience with large enterprise data warehouses.
• Familiarity with Unix/Linux and Windows servers.
• Experience with job scheduling and performance tuning.
• Healthcare data experience, Medicaid/MMIS, HIPAA/CMS knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, upgrade, patch IBM Cognos Analytics.
• Manage Cognos environments across Dev, Test, UAT, Prod.
• Monitor health, schedules, and report performance.
• Troubleshoot Cognos issues and performance bottlenecks.
• Configure security and access controls, HIPAA compliant.
• Support CMS- and state reporting (T-MSIS, MBES/CBES).
• Provide Tier 2/3 support for incidents and requests.
