Job summary

Rotech Healthcare Inc. is seeking a dedicated Manager, Cognos Server Administration to lead our Cognos BI infrastructure. You will oversee administration, governance, and performance of enterprise Cognos environments, reporting to the Director of Data Analytics & Reporting.

You will manage a technical team, ensure secure and scalable reporting solutions, and collaborate with IT, analytics, and business users to enable governed self‑service reporting across the organization.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of IBM Cognos administration experience, including server configuration and performance tuning.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with IT, DBAs, and Data Engineering to ensure data integrations and reliable refreshes.
• Develop runbooks, documentation, and SOPs for system maintenance and incident response.
• Drive improvements in deployment pipelines, performance, and platform governance.
• Ensure system uptime, reliability, and performance through monitoring and capacity planning.
• Lead and mentor a team responsible for Cognos environments, upgrades, and content management.
• Oversee Cognos security, provisioning, and data source credentials.
• Manage BI pipelines for reports, dashboards, and data modules across environments.
• Maintain vendor relationships and support tickets for Cognos issues.
