Job summary

The candidate should have a Master’s degree (or Bachelor’s with two years of experience), and be capable of delivering curriculum-based instruction and reporting on resident progress in a corrections setting.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Social Services or related field (or Bachelor’s with two years of relevant experience).
• Knowledge of Criminal Justice system and related processes.
• Ability to manage group behavior and deliver instruction on curriculum.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office or similar software.
• 40 hours of required annual training specific to the job description.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate Cognitive-Based treatment groups using established curriculum.
• Provide detailed participation and resident data reports to Case Managers and Program Director.
• Submit bi-monthly evaluation reports on residents and groups.
