Job summary

GEO Reentry Services, LLC is seeking a facilitator to deliver cognitive behavioral curriculum in group and individual settings for Tennessee DOC participants. The role may require split shifts and travel to other DOC facilities.

Responsibilities include maintaining class rosters and attendance, issuing completion certificates, providing counseling on self-esteem and problem solving, and coordinating reentry resources and community referrals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Social Sciences or related field is required.
• Prior experience as a facilitator, educator, or group moderator preferred.
• Experience in a correctional setting is a plus.
• Valid state driver’s license required.
• Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate cognitive behavioral curriculum in individual and group settings.
• Maintain class rosters, attendance records, and issue completion certificates.
• Support assessment of participant needs and referrals to management.
• Provide individual and group counseling on self-esteem and problem-solving.
• Communicate with participants regarding reentry planning and community resources.
• Assist participants in planning post-release plans and encourage responsible behavior.
