Calderdale Council is recruiting a Specialist Teacher for Cognition & Learning in Halifax. The role focuses on supporting children and young people with SEND, combining specialist assessment, teaching, coaching and leadership to improve outcomes across educational settings.

You will work with families and professionals to strengthen inclusive practice, with a hybrid pattern of 2 days remote and 3 days on-site. This permanent post offers an opportunity to influence practice beyond a single school.

Qualifications

• Specialist Cognition & Learning background required.
• Experience in teaching children with SEND is essential.
• Ability to coach and lead inclusive practice across settings.
