Job summary

Starbucks Coffee Company in Washington, DC is seeking a Shift Supervisor who leads with craft and heart to make every guest feel welcome and to deliver high-quality beverages and food to our community.

You will coach partners, oversee daily operations, uphold safety and cash handling standards, and ensure exceptional service during flexible hours, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality
• Available to work flexible hours including early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights and/or holidays
• Meet store operating policies and standards, including providing quality beverages and food products, cash handling and store safety and security
• Six (6) months of experience in a position requiring constant interaction with customers
• Prepare and coach preparation of food and beverages to standard recipes or customized for customers
• At least six (6) months of experience delegating tasks to other employees and/or coordinating the tasks of two or more employees

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach team to provide quality beverages and customer service
• Ensure store safety and cash handling procedures are followed
• Maintain cleanliness and compliance with food safety standards
• Support opening/closing duties and daily shift responsibilities
