Job description

Cerulean Blue is hiring for a Coffee Truck Coordinator!

We’re looking for a highly organized, proactive, and resourceful person to coordinate the day‑to‑day operation and continued growth of our coffee truck.

This is a varied role that combines food service, team leadership, sales, outreach, and administration. During service, you’ll help lead the truck team, manage operations, troubleshoot issues, and make sure guests receive a consistently great experience. Outside of service, you’ll be responsible for the work that keeps the truck busy and organized: following up with leads, booking events, building community partnerships, coordinating logistics, managing inventory, and keeping everything on track.

A major part of the role will be maintaining a consistent booking calendar, with a goal of at least 3 booked events or service opportunities each week. That means following up on leads, actively pursuing new opportunities, and seeing things through from initial outreach to confirmed booking.

This could be a great fit for:
  • A recent business, hospitality, marketing, or communications graduate looking for hands‑on experience with a rapidly growing brand
  • A hospitality professional looking for more variety, responsibility, and exposure to the business side of the industry
  • An event professional who enjoys both the planning and execution sides of events
  • A natural operator who is organized, resourceful, and takes pride in following things through
  • A sales or customer‑facing professional who enjoys building relationships and creating new opportunities
  • Someone entrepreneurial who likes being given a goal and figuring out how to make it happen
We’re looking for someone who:
  • Takes initiative and follows through from start to finish
  • Can manage multiple priorities without losing track of details
  • Is comfortable working independently while knowing when to ask for support
  • Can shift between administrative work, sales outreach, event service, and team leadership
  • Is confident representing the brand at community events and networking opportunities
  • Is comfortable with technology, scheduling, email, and administrative work
  • Can troubleshoot problems and find practical solutions
  • Has a strong hospitality mindset and high standards for service
  • Is comfortable driving and operating a 24‑foot coffee truck
  • Full‑time, on‑site (No less than 37 hours a week. Can reach up to 45 hours during busy seasons)
  • Must be comfortable driving a 24‑foot coffee truck

You’ll work closely with our Hospitality and Operations Managers, who will provide direction, support, and general management. We’ve established the systems and foundation for the truck. This role is about executing those systems well, keeping the operation moving, and helping us continue to grow.

During slower seasons, this role may also supplement shifts at our flagship coffee house.

If you’re looking for a role where you can get your hands on the operation, contribute to a growing brand, and see the results of your work, we’d love to hear from you.

Salary: Base hourly with tips, gratuity, and commission structure. Anticipated 45,000-50,000/year.
