Job summary

Black Rock Coffee Bar is seeking a Roaster to manage coffee production from roasting through packaging. You will sustain high quality, control inventory, and train team members while ensuring a clean, organized workspace.

This role supports multiple shifts and upholds roasting integrity across locations. Experience with Cropster, ROaste Rite, and Shopify helps optimize roasting plans and inventory accuracy.

Qualifications

• Proficient in coffee roasting techniques and roast profiles.
• Knowledge of roasting equipment maintenance and cleaning.
• Ability to train team members on roasting procedures.
• Strong quality control and product consistency responsibilities.
• Experience managing green/roasted bean inventory and FIFO practices.
• Adherence to safety and food-handling standards.
• Clear written and verbal communication for cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Execute all aspects of coffee production from roasting to packaging.
• Maintain high quality standards and consistency across batches.
• Train teammates and uphold workspace cleanliness and roasting integrity.
• Manage inventory, scheduling, and equipment maintenance per schedule.
• Support daily production needs and cross-train across departments.
