Job summary

Royal Cup, Inc. is seeking a Service Technician to install, repair, and maintain commercial coffee and beverage equipment at customer sites across designated regions.

You will troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and plumbing concerns, perform preventive maintenance, and document every service call. The role requires traveling to customer locations, staying up-to-date with product knowledge, and pursuing sales opportunities for account growth.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a High School Diploma (or an equivalent such as a GED).
• 2+ years of recent experience servicing and repairing commercial equipment, particularly in the food service or beverage industries.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Strong understanding of plumbing systems and water flow, with hands-on installation and maintenance experience.
• Advanced knowledge of electrical systems, power distribution, and troubleshooting techniques.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting technical manuals, schematics, and hydraulic/electrical diagrams.
• Skilled in using diagnostic tools and testing equipment, including water quality and pressure testing devices, refractometers, and multimeters.
• Ability to independently manage a dynamic workload, prioritize tasks, and maintain high productivity.
• Basic technology skills, including smartphone usage and a willingness to learn new mobile applications.
• Ability to occasionally travel, including overnight stays as required in support of customer account maintenance, new service installations, and other projects.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot commercial coffee and beverage equipment at customer locations.
• Accurately diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues in various beverage systems.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance and quality assurance tests on equipment.
• Maintain and organize inventory of tools, parts, and equipment required for service.
• Complete all service documentation, including accurate work orders and invoices, with customer signatures.
