Job summary

Giving Home Health Care in Tennessee is seeking a CoE Coordinator to manage medical records, ensure impairment ratings are completed timely, and coordinate with Authorized Representatives, IR Physicians, and other stakeholders to advocate for patient benefits.

You will review records, coordinate testing orders, and compile documentation packets while maintaining accurate records of patient interactions and outcomes, all while upholding professionalism and effective communication within a

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration or related field preferred.
• 1–3 years healthcare experience with EMRs and medical content interpretation.
• Familiarity with DEEOIC or RECA programs preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite required.

Responsibilities

• Initiate Medical Record requests, review and interpret records, testing, and assessments.
• Coordinate testing orders with IR/Primary Care Physicians and scheduling.
• Review, process, and organize medical records for accuracy and completeness.
• Maintain relationships with internal staff and external records departments.
• Prepare documentation packets for Impairment Rating appointments.
• Submit packets to Authorized Representatives and IR Physicians promptly.
• Inform patients of scheduled Impairment Ratings and provide reminders.
• Educate patients during impairment rating interviews and coordinate with community liaisons if needed.
• Maintain accurate records of patient interactions, services and outcomes.
