Role requires five years of billing/coding experience, a coding background, and the ability to pass internal assessments. Certifications like CPC/CCS or RHIT are preferred or considered, with a day shift M-F schedule.

Qualifications

• Five years of experience in professional billing and coding.
• Must have coding background and pass internal assessments.
• Certifications CPC, CPC-A, CCA, RHIT or CCS required or considered.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; HS diploma required.

Responsibilities

• Accurately code professional and/or hospital charges from the medical record.
• Ensure compliant and timely claim submission per payer rules.
• Provide educational feedback to providers based on audits.
• Support follow-up with required documentation for claims.
• Help ensure coding and billing compliance across the organization.
