Job summary

NYU Langone Florida is seeking a Coding Coordinator II to join our Central Billing Offices team in Boynton Beach. You will coordinate coding review, claim submission, charge reconciliation, and follow‑up on denials, providing insights to improve documentation and revenue.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree and 3–5 years of relevant experience; strong communication, multitasking, and computer skills; knowledge of CPT/ICD-10 guidelines; and ability to work with providers and staff to optimize

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required or equivalent combination of training and experience.
3–5 years of relevant work experience in medical coding or billing.
Ability to multitask and prioritize.
Strong communication and computer skills.
Familiar with CPT/ICD-10 coding guidelines.

Responsibilities

Coordinate coding review, claim submission, charge reconciliation and follow‑up on denials.
Provide coding, financial and operational reports and feedback to providers.
Review and train practices on payer guidelines and reimbursement policies.
Monitor reports and workqueues to ensure timely AR follow‑up.
Draft appeal letters and follow up on appeals as needed.
Assist in communicating with coding and AR vendors and training.
Verify patient insurance information and support financial clearance.
Ensure compliance with billing rules and CMS guidelines.
