Billings Clinic is seeking a Coding Resources Coordinator to lead the Coding Resources Department, ensure compliant coding, and drive staff development. You will supervise daily operations, mentor staff, and coordinate with IT and finance to align coding practices with payer requirements.

Ideal candidates will have RHIT/RHIA CPC/CCS credentials or equivalent, and demonstrate experience with ICD-CM, CPT-4/HCPCS, PCS and DRG coding, along with strong data analysis and budgeting skills.

Qualifications

• Education: High School or GED.
• 2 of leadership or supervisory experience, preferred.
• 2 years in a multi-specialty clinic/hospital with ICD-CM, CPT-4/HCPCS, PCS and DRG coding.
• Experience in clinic/hospital settings handling ICDCM, CPT-4/HCPCS, PCS and/or DRG coding, billing, fees and reimbursement.
• Ability to work with databases and create complex spreadsheets.

Responsabilités

• Provide leadership for review, analysis, and interpretation of regulations and standards.
• Oversee coding and analysis of diseases and procedures for reimbursement.
• Supervise Coding Resources staff and coordinate day-to-day activities.
• Manage personnel processes: hiring, orientation, training, performance reviews, coaching.
• Maintain department files and coordinate with Information Services on systems.
• Participate in budget planning and long-term department planning.
• Prepare reports on department status and efficiency using reporting tools.
• Develop and maintain policies, procedures, and process improvements.
• Oversee payer regulatory training and education for staff on coding requirements.
