Graduate-level credentials or RHIA/RHIT/CCS/CPC/CCS-P are valued, with a minimum of three years in a team coding environment and leadership experience.

Qualifikationen

• Associate’s degree or two years of experience in lieu of degree may be considered.
• RHIA, RHIT, CCS, CPC, or CCS-P credential required
• Minimum three years of coding experience in a team environment within a highly computerized hospital setting
• Previous experience and demonstrated skill in a leadership or supervisory role.

Aufgaben

• Provide leadership and operational oversight for employed and vendor-supported resources.
• Coordinate workload, performance monitoring, quality feedback, issue escalation, and execution of PB coding and PB-CDI priorities.
• Monitor documentation integrity trends identified through provider coding audits, denials, claim edits, and work queue activity; facilitate provider education and feedback.
• Collaborate with PB-CDI and stakeholders to address recurring documentation concerns and support education.
