Qualifications

• Proven knowledge of professional or hospital coding standards (CPT & ICD-10 CM).
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment.
• Working knowledge of EHR and billing systems.
• Proficient with common PC software for reporting and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Supervise coding staff for daily workflow, quality, and compliance.
• Provide ongoing coding education and new coder training.
• Review revenue cycle workflows, audits, and denials.
• Analyze productivity and impact of coding activities.
• Maintain training materials and department workflow documentation.
• Collaborate with leadership to resolve issues and staffing.
