Qualifications

• Requires CPC certification and strong knowledge of medical coding and revenue cycle processes.
• Must demonstrate leadership and experience supervising multi-disciplinary coding teams.
• Experience with compliance, auditing, and provider education is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead professional billing, coding, charge capture, and Epic work queues to ensure accurate claims and revenue cycle performance.
• Mentor and evaluate coding staff, setting productivity, quality, and compliance standards.
• Direct multi-specialty coding activities with CPT/ICD-10-CM/HCPCS accuracy per CMS and payer guidelines.
• Manage quality assurance programs, audits, and performance reviews to reduce denials and improve revenue.
• Serve as primary coding and compliance SME, advising physicians and staff on updates and payer requirements.
