Cooper Norcross Health is seeking an experienced claims editor and coder to support revenue cycle goals with timely, accurate billing. You will utilize ICD-10-CM/PCS, HCPCS and CPT coding references to ensure correct reimbursements and coding compliance.

Collaborate with clinical and billing teams to resolve coding issues, address NCCI, OCE and LCD edits, and maintain CDM integrity across hospital departments.

Short Description

Utilizes International Classification of Disease (ICD-10-CM and PCS), Healthcare Common Procedure Coding System (HCPCS) including Current Procedural Terminology (CPT) and other coding references to ensure accurate coding. Addresses NCCI, OCE, LCD and other coding edits as applicable.

Experience Required

3-5 years required.

Education Requirements

High School Diploma/GED

License/Certification Requirements

One or more of the following: RHIA, RHIT, CCS, CIC, COC, CPC, CCA, CCC, CIRCC, CCVTC and/or any of the Core Credentials or specialty credential of AAPC or AHIMA required.
