Job summary

Premier Physician Network (PPN) in Moraine, OH seeks a Coding Analyst responsible for auditing, training and monitoring the quality of coding and provider documentation across the network. This role reports to the PPN CDI & Coding Quality Manager.

The analyst will conduct chart audits, provide training to physicians and staff on coding compliance, and serve as an on-call resource for documentation issues, interacting with clinicians, office staff and corporate teams.

Qualifications

• The candidate must demonstrate successful presentation techniques and possess excellent organizational, customer service, and both oral and written communication skills.
• He/She should possess a strong knowledge base of ICD-10-CM, CPT and HCPCS coding, financial analysis techniques, costing, federal and state regulatory processes, insurance billing, third party payor requirements, outcome measurements, medical information management and practice patterns.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, PPT, Teams).

Responsibilities

• Audit physician charts for coding accuracy and documentation quality.
• Provide trainings on coding guidelines and regulatory requirements to physicians and staff.
• Collaborate with CDI & Coding Quality Manager on documentation issues and practice patterns.
• Serve as an on-call resource for coding questions and chart audits.
• Interact with physicians, practice managers, office staff, corporate staff, and hospital-based resources.
