What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Audit and review medical documentation for compliance with coding regulations
- Provide educational opportunities for coders, practice managers, and healthcare providers
- Coordinate all internal and external audits for the organization
- Assist in developing and implementing an internal audit program
- Perform ad hoc coding audits and follow up with providers as needed

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of five (5) years of coding and billing experience
- Strong knowledge of ICD-10-CM and CPT-4 coding guidelines
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Certified Professional Medical Auditor (CPMA) certification preferred
- Experience in training others and auditing practices
- Associate’s degree in a health-related field preferred
- Ability to manage sensitive situations with professionalism and diplomacy
