Position Purpose: Responsible for developing and conducting a variety of training programs and auditing tools for the Payment Integrity department.

Note: The Coder Trainer I position is fully remote. Candidates will be considered nationwide.

Responsibilities:

1. Conduct training needs analyses to determine specific training needs for Payment Integrity department staff.
2. Identify, select, and develop appropriate training programs, including the selection or design of training aids.
3. Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs, including cost and benefit analyses.
4. Research, analyze, and recommend external training programs.
5. Maintain records of training activities and employee progress.
6. Assist in auditing work performed by staff and present findings and recommendations for improvement to management.
7. Assist with revisions to policies, procedures, and work process development.
8. Perform other duties as assigned.
9. Ensure compliance with all policies and standards.

Highly Preferred Qualifications:

• Coding experience (Certified Professional Coder preferred).
• Prior training experience in a virtual environment.

Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience. At least 2 years of training experience, preferably in a managed care or healthcare environment.

Pay Range: $55,100 - $99,000 per year.
