Job summary

Code Ninjas Oro Valley is seeking a part-time Code Sensei to coach kids ages 5–14 in a fun, safe learning environment. You will follow the curriculum, guide students, and help them grow their coding, math, logic, and problem-solving skills.

This role rewards teamwork, adaptability, and strong communication with parents, and you’ll handle opening/closing duties, keep the dojo clean, and report daily progress to your supervisor.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children ages 5 and up in teaching, mentoring, or coaching.
• Experience in teaching, mentoring or childcare.
• Background check required.

Responsibilities

• Train through the curriculum and learn it.
• Create a positive and safe environment for student growth.
• Work with children to determine skill sets.
• Provide feedback to parents after lessons.
• Follow opening/closing duties daily.
• Keep the dojo clean throughout the day.
• Report daily to supervisor on activities and productivity.
