We are seeking candidates for a Code of Ethics Analyst position with a highly successful investment management firm located in Boston, MA. This position will be part of the firm’s Legal, Compliance, and Risk Team and will be responsible for compliance with the firm’s policy and procedures regarding political contributions. The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of experience in compliance, operational, regulatory, or code of ethics (COE) within a financial services environment.
This is a 6+ month contract position that will pay $30-36/hr (depending on experience) within a 40-hour work week. This position supports a hybrid work model, onsite 4 days per week in their Boston office.
Responsibilities
- Address employee questions and provide guidance on Code of Ethics policies and requirements
- Support operational, system, and data-driven aspects of the Code of Ethics program, identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency through technology
- Collaborate with global compliance teams, Operational Risk, and Internal Audit to ensure aligned and consistent outcomes
- Assist with broader Legal, Compliance, and Risk initiatives as needed
- Develop and deliver training on ethics and regulatory compliance topics
- Support responses to regulatory inquiries and examinations
- Act as an escalation point for offshore compliance teams
- Create, maintain, and continuously improve operational procedures and documentation
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, computer science, or a related field (required)
- 1-3 years of experience in compliance, operational risk, or business controls within a financial services environment
- Previous experience with Power BI, Power Automate, Alteryx, GenAI is a plus
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally across teams
- Strong attention to detail and interest in technology to improve processes
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
