Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Two years in municipal code enforcement preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally.
• One year experience in inspections, investigations and land use administration.
• Knowledge of clerical duties and MS Office.
• Must obtain zoning, ICC, and animal control certifications within 2 years.

Aufgaben

• Enforce local, state and federal codes for nuisance violations.
• Issue correction notices and citations and follow up.
• Inspect private and public properties within the city.
• Respond to animal control issues and manage animal permits.
• Maintain records and operate with discretion and confidentiality.
• Work with Risk and Safety to address health and safety issues.
• Follow city personnel policies.
• Conduct field investigations and gather evidence.
