Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Three (3) years of experience in the Code Enforcement field.
• Two (2) years of customer service experience preferred.
• Must maintain required certifications.
• Must possess the Texas Department of Licensing & Regulation Code Enforcement Officer License.
• Must possess a valid Texas Class C driver's license.
• Must possess or be able to obtain the ICC Code Certification within two years of employment.
• Must pass MVR check and pre-employment drug screening and background check.

Responsibilities

• Enforce Town, County, and State codes by inspecting properties and enforcing actions.
• Educate residents about applicable codes and promote voluntary compliance.
• Uphold standards for property maintenance, zoning, and environmental health.
• Support a safe, clean, and well-maintained community environment.
