Job summary

The City of Minneapolis is seeking a Building Inspector who will conduct inspections to ensure compliance with building, plumbing, and mechanical codes. Reporting to the Building Official, the inspector will support licensing staff and collaborate with the City Planner to ensure permit applications meet zoning regulations.

Qualifications

• Requires a combination of high school education and post-secondary training in building trades.
• MN Building Official Limited certification is required.
• Valid Minnesota Driver's License is required.

Responsibilities
