Job summary

Catholic Community Services of Western Washington (CCSWW) is seeking an on-site COD Counselor (Case Manager III) for a full-time role. The position offers a $1,000 signing bonus and benefits including medical, dental and vision insurance, pension and 403(b) plans.

Hybrid remote work may be possible depending on locale and caseload. The COD Counselor will provide outreach, engagement and ongoing case management for adults with mental health and substance use disorders, including homeless

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, or relevant field.
• SUDPT credential or ability to obtain within 60 days.
• At least 1 year of direct service with vulnerable populations.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Proficient with basic computer tasks and meticulous record keeping.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Commitment to CCSWW mission and HIPAA rules.
• Criminal history background checks required.

Responsibilities

• Outreach and engagement with individuals experiencing homelessness at shelter and housing sites.
• Provide crisis de-escalation and risk assessments; coordinate with responders and professionals.
• Conduct biopsychosocial assessments and support treatment planning.
• Deliver case management, therapy, and trauma-informed interventions.
• Coordinate with staff across housing, medical care and community resources.
