Job summary

Resorts World Las Vegas is seeking a Model Cocktail Server to provide beverage service at our high-energy bars, lounges and pool areas. You will greet guests, take and deliver drink orders, and engage in promotional activities to drive guest experiences.

The role requires at least 1 year of customer service, a minimum age of 21, and the ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays. Knowledge of spirits and presentation is preferred; licensing will be provided as needed.

  • Develop promotional plans to increase business levels and sales.
  • Maintain social platforms as directed by management; post events and communications.
  • Assist with guest list submission and building personal clientele.

Job description

SUMMARY STATEMENT

Model Cocktail Server, Zouk is responsible for beverage service of all VIP tables and seating areas in a high-volume restaurant, bar, lounge or pool.

PRIMARY JOB DUTIES
  • Includes but is not limited to: Greet, serve, interact and entertain guests courteously and in a timely manner with an upbeat attitude.
  • Respond to guest inquiries and requests, concerns and complaints regarding beverages and correct and resolve in a courteous and respectful manner.
  • Anticipate guest needs and inform guest about venues, menus, specials, pricing and directions.
  • Strong knowledge of portion control and product identification.
  • Knowledgeable about our food, beverages and other company functions and services.
  • Recognize and cultivate regular guests and repeat business.
  • Maintain line of sight/atmosphere control by circulating through your work area throughout shift.
  • Organize and prioritize service per appropriate service sequence.
  • Prompt delivery of all beverages to appropriate tables and assigned work area(s).
  • Comply with all safety and health department procedures and all state and federal liquor laws.
  • Participate in in-house modeling programs, special casino events, banquet service functions, marketing campaigns and advertising and performs model/presenter tasks.
  • Assist in the development of promotional plans in order to increase business levels and sales.
  • Pose for pictures as requested by management, appear in uniform or designated (logo) apparel for promotional activities at or away from venue.
  • Participate and appear in marketing, publicity or media materials.
  • Maintain social platforms as indicated by management; post events, communications and participate in marketing campaigns via social media.
  • Ability to submit guest to the venues guest list, table reservations and focus on the development of personal clientele list.
  • Obtain and maintain position-specific licensing.
  • Use personal device/cellular phone for job related operational tasks, job duties, review of company documents, etc.
  • Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Includes but is not limited to: Ability to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays.
  • Ability to effectively communicate in English.
  • Polished appearance and demeanor.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to obtain maintain full knowledge and understanding of company and department rules and regulations, policies and procedures.
PREFERRED
  • Working knowledge of POS system (ex: Micros, UrVenue, etc.).
  • Employ with safe alcohol service, sanitation and safety protocol.
  • Strong knowledge of spirits, wine, champagne, beer and mixed cocktails.
  • Previous experience working in a dayclub and or nightclub.
  • Previous experience modeling and beverage presentation.
  • Previous experience working in a large, luxury resort setting.
MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
  • At least 21 years of age.
  • At least one year of customer service experience.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGULATIONS
  • Proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
  • Position required licenses: Food Handler Card Alcohol Awareness Card Nevada Gaming Registration
