• Cash handling and self-banking with accurate counting.
• Operate a keyboard and POS to pre-check orders and close checks.
• No prior experience required.
• TIPS and Bartender certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Check and maintain proper setup and cleanliness of the service station.

• Take orders and recite selection of drinks; memorize beverages.
• Provide snacks and garnishes with beverages.
• Input orders into POS and inform the bartender an order was placed.
• Maintain cleanliness of guest tables and assist the bar area.
• Replenish beverages and check guest satisfaction.
• Present the check, thank the guest, and invite return.
• Perform side work and daily checklist.
• Perform general cleaning tasks and maintain the work area.
• Handle special guest requests as needed.

Among the social aspect of a Cocktail Server, you will provide the one-of-a-kind food and beverage to our guests in a friendly, timely manner. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of experience.

POSITION PURPOSE:

As a Cocktail Server you will be working in a social environment where you have the opportunity to connect with guests and build relationships. Among the social aspect of a Cocktail Server, you will provide the service of food and beverage to our guests in a friendly and timely manner.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• 1. Check and maintain proper set-up and cleanliness of service station before, during, and after shift.
• 2. Greet guests in a timely, friendly, and courteous manner and explain all specials, promotions, and snacks.
• 3. Take orders, recite selection of all call and premium brands as requested - this will require memorization of all available drinks, beer, and taps.
• 4. Provide appropriate snack and garnish with all beverages.
• 5. Input orders into point of sale system in a timely fashion to inform bartender an order was made.
• 6. Maintain cleanliness of guest tables and assist with the bar area.
• 7. Replenish beverages as requested, frequently checking back with guest to inquire about satisfaction.
• 8. Present the guest with the check promptly, thank them and invite them to return.
• 9. Perform all assigned side work and complete daily checklist.
• 10. Perform general cleaning tasks, use standard cleaning products as assigned by your supervisor to adhere to health standards.
• 11. Maintain condition and cleanliness of work area.
• 12. Perform other duties and responsibilities as requested e.g., special guest requests.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

• 1. Must have basic knowledge of food and beverage preparation and service of various alcoholic beverages.
• 2. Knowledge of the appropriate table settings, service ware, and menu items.
• 3. Ability to read, sufficient to understand menus and special promotions, speak and write the English language to communicate with the guest, and take orders.
• 4. Ability to remember, recite, and promote a variety of menu items.
• 5. Ability to transport trays weighing up to 40 lbs. through a crowded room on a continuous basis throughout shift.
• 6. Must adhere to all State, Federal, and Corporate liquor regulations pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages to minors and intoxicated guests to ensure all laws are being followed.
• 7. Maintain a positive attitude throughout shift.
• 8. Work as a team player.
• 9. Ability to remain motivated during busy and slow periods within shift.
• 10. Cash handling and self-banking position, requires ability to maintain funds, and accurately count back charge.
• 11. Ability to operate a keyboard and learn point of sale procedures to pre-check an order and close out a check
• 12. No prior experience required.
• 13. Ability to obtain any government required license or certificate. TIPS and Bartender certification preferred.
