Job summary

The Post Oak in Houston is seeking a Cocktail Server to welcome guests, take and deliver drink orders, and recommend cocktails while ensuring speedy, accurate service. You will work closely with bartenders to maintain a lively and efficient service station.

Prior hospitality experience or knowledge of cocktails is preferred. This role supports a high-energy environment with strong team collaboration and guest-focused service, with tips earning a significant portion of compensation.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Cocktail Server or in a similar customer service role.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-energy environment.
• Knowledge of cocktails, spirits, and beverage service.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests in a friendly and welcoming manner; Take and deliver drink orders promptly and accurately while providing recommendations on specialty cocktails and other beverages
• Engage with customers, anticipating their needs and preferences
• Ensure accuracy in taking and delivering orders
• Verify guest identification for age-restricted purchases
• Maintain a clean and organized work area; Monitor and restock supplies as needed
• Collaborate with bartenders and other staff to ensure smooth service
• Communicate effectively with team members to fulfill guest requests
