Job summary

The Post Oak is seeking a Bartender to deliver extraordinary guest experiences with positive, courteous, and professional service. You will craft beverages to specifications, keep the bar stocked, and handle cash with accuracy while staying engaging and quick on your feet.

This role requires prior bartending experience in a hotel or related setting, strong guest service, effective communication, and flexibility to work varying shifts including early mornings, late nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Bartending experience in a hotel or related setting.
• Record of delivering exceptional guest experience.
• Effective communication skills.
• Appropriate professional appearance and demeanor.
• Must be available for various shifts including early morning, late nights, weekends, holidays, and long hours.
• Team Player with a guest first attitude.
• Minimum age of 21 years old.

Responsibilities

• Consistently deliver positive, courteous, and professional guest service in all interactions with guests, visitors, vendors, and fellow employees.
• Discover guest needs and suggests beverages to enhance their experience and meet sales goals.
• Be the master of the bar, understanding all aspects to promote a well-run shift by proper preparation.
• Maintain par levels of all stock and supplies, garnishes, beer, wine, liquor, barware, etc.
• Responsible for keeping an accurate count of all money and comps received for guests and follow cash handling policies.
