Job summary

Caesars Entertainment in Illinois is seeking a Server to join the Casino Bar team. You will take cocktail orders, attend to guests at your station, and ensure clean, efficient service in compliance with state liquor laws and gaming regulations.

Qualifications

PAY TYPE: $9 Hourly, plus tips

HOW YOU WILL CREATE THE EXTRAORDINARY

• Occupy assigned station at scheduled time.
• Take cocktail orders from guests in assigned station.
• Clean assigned station.
• Adhere to all state and local liquor laws.
• Follow all company procedures involving gaming regulations.
• Must assist patrons in answering questions and direct them to areas of safety during emergencies as instructed by management, Security or senior crew members.
• Assure exceptional customer service to all patrons by communicating in a pleasant, friendly, and professional manner at all times.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

PHYSICAL - Must be able to:

• Work within restricted area of Soft Count room with reasonable accommodation.
• Bend, stand or stoop for long periods of time.
• Communicate verbally and professionally.
• See.
• Must be able to hear. Can be augmented with a hearing aid.
• Tolerate noisy and/or dimly lit environment.
• Must be able to lift a minimum of twenty pounds (20 lbs.).
• Must have manual dexterity.
• Climb stairs repeatedly.
• Push/pull drop carts and drop boxes.
• Repetitive motion, i.e. bending, pulling, opening boxes for drop and count process.

MENTAL - Must be able to:

• Work accurately with basic math skills
• Write to complete daily reports.
• Understand and comply with Policies and Procedures, Job Descriptions, daily memorandum and other written and verbal instructions.
• Read and understand in order to communicate with patrons and co-workers.
• Must be able to work under stressful conditions.

GAMING

Must have the ability to hold an Occupational License as required by the Illinois Gaming Board.

PREREQUISITES/PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred. Prefer minimum 2 years' experience as a cocktail server. Must have an outgoing personality and a flexible schedule.
