Located steps from Bryant Park in the heart of New York City, HARTA, BAR HARTA, and BAR CIMA are immersive escapes within The Grayson Hotel that come together to create an approachable and elegant atmosphere offering both indoor and outdoor experiences. BAR CIMA welcomes guests into an intimate lounge with elevated cocktail service and breathtaking views of New York City's Empire State Building.

Summary

As a Cocktail Server at our vibrant rooftop lounge, you'll be the face of hospitality, providing exceptional service and creating memorable experiences for our guests. You'll showcase your passion for mixology and attention to detail as you craft and deliver a diverse range of cocktails amidst stunning panoramic views. With a keen eye for guest needs and a friendly demeanor, you'll ensure every guest feels welcomed and attended to with personalized care. Your role will be pivotal in maintaining the ambiance of our upscale establishment while maximizing revenue through suggestive selling and upselling. Responsibilities
  1. Provide exceptional customer service by greeting guests, taking orders, and delivering beverages in a timely and friendly manner.
  2. Utilize knowledge of cocktails, wines, and other beverages to make recommendations and suggestions to guests.
  3. Prepare and serve a variety of cocktails, mocktails, and other beverages according to standard recipes and guest preferences.
  4. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and workspace.
  5. Monitor and manage inventory levels, ensuring sufficient stock of beverages, garnishes, and supplies.
  6. Process payments accurately, handle cash and credit card transactions, and reconcile sales at the end of each shift.
  7. Collaborate with bartenders and other team members to ensure smooth service and uphold quality standards.
  8. Adhere to all safety and sanitation guidelines, including proper handling of alcohol and adherence to responsible beverage service practices.
  9. Engage with guests to provide information about the lounge, menu offerings, and special promotions.
  10. Upsell additional menu items and encourage guests to participate in loyalty programs or special events.
Must Haves
  1. Experience as a Server or related role in a rooftop lounge preferred.
  2. Strong customer service skills with a friendly and outgoing personality.
  3. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  4. Proficiency in mixology and cocktail preparation techniques, mezcal knowledge a plus.
  5. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  6. Knowledge of beverage brands, types, and flavor profiles.
  7. Capacity to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
  8. Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  9. Positive attitude and a team-oriented mindset.
