The opportunity

Delaware North Travel is hiring a full-time Cocktail Server to join our team at Denver Airport in Denver, Colorado. As a Cocktail Server, you will use your knowledge of wines, beers, and cocktails to serve a variety of drinks to guests while providing excellent service in every interaction.

Please note this is a tipped position, the hourly minimum pay listed doesn’t include any potential tipped earnings.

Pay

$15.47 – $15.47 / hour

What will you do?

• Greet guests, communicate drink specials, answer questions about available beverages, and take beverage orders
• Serve alcoholic beverages responsibly, request identification, adhere to all unit and company alcohol service policies and procedures
• Enter drink orders into the point-of-sale system; pick up drink orders and deliver to guests
• Observe and follow up with guests, ready to provide additional service
• Prepare and deliver the guest checks; accept and process payment or direct guests to the cashier
• Perform opening, closing, and side work duties as assigned

More about you

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Possess basic knowledge of standard drink recipes and alcohol brand names
• Basic math skills

Physical requirements

• Constant standing, walking, bending, reaching and repetitive motions
• Ability to maneuver between tables and around corners
• Ability to lift, balance and carry trays, weighing up to 35 pounds
• Visual acuity and hearing sufficient to take orders and prepare bills
