The St. James Hotel in Red Wing, MN is seeking a friendly, motivated team player to join our hospitality team in the Port lounge, delivering warm, efficient and professional guest experiences.

You will greet guests, take orders, serve food and drinks, and possibly learn cocktail mixology and elevated wines; the role also requires cash handling and cross-department coordination, with Wednesday–Saturday evenings.

Formación

• 2 years of customer service and cash handling experience preferred.
• Strong communication skills.
• Basic computer skills and experience with POS Systems.

• Manage transactions accurately, handle cash responsibly, and reconcile financials at shift end.
• Coordinate with team members across departments to ensure seamless service for guests and events.

The targeted hiring range for this position is $11.54 - $15.07 per hour depending on qualifications; however, the expanded salary range provides opportunities for advancement. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and job location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, competencies, experience, and relevant education, training or a combination of these things and market demand. Key Responsibilities:

Qualifications

2 years of customer service and cash handling experience preferred; Strong communication skills; Basic computer skills and experience with POS Systems (preferred); Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail for accuracy and efficiency; Friendly, cooperative, and adaptable; Strong problem-solving skills and ability to prioritize effectively; Eagerness to learn and maintain product knowledge through ongoing education.
