Opportunity Overview

We are seeking an experienced COBOL AS/400 Programmer to support and enhance mission-critical enterprise applications running on the IBM AS/400 (iSeries) platform. Key Responsibilities

• Legacy Application Development & Maintenance: Design, enhance, and support COBOL-based programs on AS/400 systems.
• Business Requirement Analysis: Translate business needs into technical specifications and functional code.
• Testing & Troubleshooting: Perform unit testing, debug COBOL applications, and resolve system and data integrity issues.
• Production Support: Diagnose and resolve real-time production issues to minimize system downtime.
• System Integration: Collaborate with business analysts, QA, and cross-functional technical teams to ensure seamless integration with other platforms.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate technical documentation, support materials, and knowledge base updates.
