Information Technology Staffing and Solutions Provider

COBOL Developer – Remote with some travel to SC.

SYSTEMTEC is seeking a Mainframe COBOL Developer to assist in a long-term, high profile project which will include backfill on production systems. This position will require experience for Mainframe, MVS COBOL, JCL, IDMS, and Changeman.

Responsibilities of the COBOL DEVELOPER:

• Work with internal and Medicaid systems to make coding changes to COBOL and ADS programs using an IDMS network database or IDMS relational database.
• Debug, unit test, and provide integration test coding changes.
• Support QA staff during user acceptance and external testing.
• Communicate efficiently and effectively in spoken and written form.

Requirements of the COBOL DEVELOPER:

• Mainframe
• MVS COBOL
• JCL
• IDMS/Network
• CA-ADS
• Changeman
• Nice to have: Medicaid or healthcare systems experience

Work Location:Upstate, SC
