Job summary

B&A Communications is seeking an experienced COAX Splicer to join our telecommunications construction team. The ideal candidate will splice, activate, test, and troubleshoot coaxial networks in field settings, with a focus on safety and quality workmanship.

Qualifications

• COAX splicing experience required.
• Knowledge of CATV/HFC systems and coax construction practices.
• Ability to use signal meters and standard splicing/testing equipment.
• Ability to read cable prints and system maps.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Ability to work days, nights, weekends, or on-call as project needs require.
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen.
• Must be dependable, safety-conscious, and able to produce quality work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Perform coax cable splicing, including new construction and maintenance work.
• Install and splice coax cable, hardline connectors, passives, and related equipment.
• Read and understand system prints, maps, and work orders.
• Perform system activation, balancing, testing, and troubleshooting as required.
• Identify and repair signal and connectivity issues.
• Complete aerial and underground splicing work.
• Maintain accurate documentation of completed work.
• Follow company and customer safety and quality standards.
• Work independently in the field and coordinate with supervisors and construction crews.

COAX Splicer – Telecommunications

B&A Communications is seeking an experienced COAX Splicer to join our telecommunications construction team. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience splicing, activating, testing, and troubleshooting coaxial cable networks.

Responsibilities

• Perform coax cable splicing, including new construction and maintenance work
