Job summary

Kanaan Communications, LLC is seeking a Coax Splicer II to perform splicing and upgrades on coaxial networks for internet, cable TV, and telephone services. You will splice both aerial and underground lines, test and troubleshoot installed equipment, and document daily production activities.

Qualifications include at least two years of coax splicing experience, a valid driver's license, ability to pass a DOT exam, and authorization to work in the United States.

• Two years of coax splicing experience.
• Authorization to work in the United States for this company.
• Valid State driver's license and acceptable driving record.
• Must be able to pass a DOT physical exam, resulting in a valid medical card.

Responsibilities

• Perform tasks associated with electronic upgrades and splicing of coaxial cable, both aerial and underground.
• Test, activate, and troubleshoot equipment post-installation.
• Ensure all splicing operations meet strict customer and industry standards.
• Safely navigate working at different heights, from underground to in the air.
• Complete basic daily maintenance of vehicles, including fluid checks.
• Document work performed through daily production reports, including marking up maps and keeping correct material usage records.
• Other duties as assigned
