Job summary
Synthomer plc is seeking a Technical Service Manager to support its Coatings business in the Americas. This role involves providing technical expertise and support to customers, as well as influencing new product development.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in a science-based discipline and a strong background in coatings formulation with at least five years of relevant experience.
Located ideally in Ohio or the Midwest, this position offers a competitive salary and various benefits.
Qualifications
- Minimum five years’ experience in a coatings formulation role.
- Experience in technical service for the coatings industry preferred.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel up to 30%.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct technical support to customers on product specifications.
- Influence new product development decisions within the Coatings business.
- Maintain contacts with existing and prospective customers.
