Job summary

Synthomer in Ohio, USA invites applications for a Customer Solutions / Sales Support role. You will coordinate sales and service activities, process orders, and interface with multiple internal teams to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction.

The position emphasizes strong communication, data accuracy, and cross-functional collaboration. Hybrid work schedule applies, with four days in the office and one day remote.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Experience in customer relationship management and sales support.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Analytical thinker with attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
• Excellent organization, follow-up skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel and Word).
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Effectively communicates order status and serves as contact point for inquiries (pricing, product info, delivery tracking).
• Receive, process, and own customer purchase orders, including complaints, returns, credits/debits, and requests.
• Initiate actions to ensure domestic/international customer requirements are met.
• Collaborate with Business Management, Marketing, Sales, Production, Quality, SHE, Logistics, Shipping and Customer Financial Services to improve global service.
• Create and maintain accurate customer master data and related information.
• Maintain data integrity across all stages of order processing.
• Support development of global Customer Solutions standards and participate in cross-functional teams.
• Assist Performance Chemical customers with product info, samples, order status, delivery times, and pricing/terms.
• Handle returned goods, credits, non-conformances, and regulatory issues as needed.
• Uphold a safe work environment for self and others.
