Job summary

Thorpe Plant Services, Inc. seeks a seasoned Coatings Superintendent to lead specialty trade projects in Utah, ensuring on-site crews, subcontractors, and vendors execute with quality and within budget.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years in the trades with supervisory experience, strong blueprint reading, and proficient use of Procore or Buildertrend for project management. On-site role requiring valid driver9;s license and reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; extra technical training is a plus.
• 7+ years in the specialty trade industry with supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of specialty trade projects from mobilization to completion.
• Manage on-site crews, subcontractors, and vendors for quality and efficiency.
• Develop and maintain project schedules to meet timelines and budgets.
• Review plans, specs, and blueprints for compliance and standards.
• Monitor progress, address delays, and resolve on-site issues promptly.
• Enforce safety regulations and perform site inspections for quality control.
• Collaborate with project managers and clients to align goals.
• Coordinate material deliveries, equipment, and labor needs.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to on-site staff.
• Prepare progress reports and maintain project documentation.
