Job summary

Niles Shared Services, LLC is seeking a Senior Safety Manager - Coatings to lead safety programs, drive incident prevention, and coach field teams across coatings operations. The role focuses on regulatory compliance, audits, and fostering a proactive safety culture to protect personnel and assets.

You will mentor Safety Representatives and Coordinators, partner with operations leadership, and ensure safety plans, PTPS, JHAs, and JSAs are developed and implemented across sites.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of safety leadership experience in industrial construction or coatings environments.
• Experience writing safety plans, JHAs, JSAs, and PTPS.
• OSHA 30 certification or higher with strong knowledge of coatings safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day safety leadership to field personnel, project teams, and operations leaders.
• Lead and coordinate safety audits, inspections, and coaching at jobsites and client locations.
• Plan, coordinate, and conduct safety training (OSHA 10/30, confined space, fall protection, PPE).
• Lead incident investigations, root cause analyses, and corrective action development.
• Partner with operations leadership to promote accountability and continuous safety improvement.
