Job summary

Nouryon is seeking a Researcher in the United States (Massachusetts) to develop, formulate, and evaluate innovative coating technologies supporting growth and RD&I strategies. You will design and analyze data, translate findings for RD&I, marketing, and commercial teams, and identify opportunities to improve formulations and testing.

In a collaborative environment, you will advance projects from concept to commercialization, delivering value-driven solutions to customers and the coatings

Qualifications

• MS in materials engineering, polymer engineering, or ChemE.
• Bachelor’s in related field with 3+ years experience in paints/coatings.

Responsibilities

• Support RD&I projects and provide technical support to customers.
• Prepare and evaluate Paint, Adhesive, Building & Construction formulations.
• Capture results in reports and presentations.
• Plan and evaluate new products against benchmarks.
• Align lab testing with customer practices in the Americas.
• Travel to other sites and customers as needed.
• Maintain and calibrate lab equipment.
