Job summary

Ground Effects LLC is seeking a Product Development Chemist to formulate, modify, and test new and existing products in line with procedures, regulations, and standards for performance, cost, manufacturability, and processing.

The role includes troubleshooting, re-validating samples, and providing solutions for challenging applications, while partnering with Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, and Technical Services to support scale-up and maintain documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree required.
• Minimum 2 years in an industrial chemical laboratory or 1–2 years in polyurethanes/polyureas.
• Experience with sample testing and quality control, elastomers, resin systems, and isocyanates; familiarity with titration, gel time, tensile strength, and Tabor abrasion.

Responsibilities

• Formulate, modify, and test products per established procedures and standards.
• Troubleshoot, re-validate samples from customers or suppliers, and develop solutions for applications.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, and Technical Services to support scale-up and testing records.
• Operate testing equipment per ASTM and ISO 17025 standards and document results.
• Maintain accurate project documentation and communicate findings to teams and management.
• Represent Ultimate Linings professionally at customer and supplier events as needed.
