Job summary

The Pittsburgh Paint Company is seeking a Plant Manager to oversee the coatings production process at our Carrollton, TX site. You will report directly to the Vice President of Manufacturing and drive operational excellence to meet customer needs.

Responsibilities include managing production safely, on time, and cost-efficiently, evaluating equipment and facilities, and developing a skilled, engaged workforce committed to continuous improvement.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, chemical engineering or chemistry preferred.
10+ years in chemical operations and production supervision.
Lean Six Sigma knowledge or certification preferred.

Responsibilities

Manage manufacturing and delivery of quality coatings safely, on time, efficiently, and within Pittsburgh Paints Company guidelines.
Lead a clean, safe, cost-efficient production organization that is committed to a high level of first run capability and is responsive to changes in the marketplace.
Evaluate equipment, facility, warehousing/distribution and process needs, and prepare capital authorizations to meet current and future needs.
Develop and maintain, through training and participative management, a workforce that is motivated and committed to organizational objectives with effective utilization of staff.
