Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Materials Science & Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 8 years of professional experience in an engineering/technical discipline.

Responsabilités

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of coatings and materials engineers; own hiring, performance management, workload balancing, and career growth.
• Demonstrate leadership in communicating goals, programs, and processes for materials technologies.
• Navigate organizational and technical challenges and develop objectives for self and others.
• Drive coatings technical readiness programs (TRL 4-6) using engineering principles and standards.
• Apply program/project management to plan, resource, and deliver projects on cost and schedule; communicate risks.
• Partner with production teams to mature processes (MRL) and transition coatings from lab to factory.
• Document technical data consistently with policies; apply FLIGHT DECK tools and lean problem-solving.
• Communicate program updates to the advanced military community in reviews/forums.
