Job summary

ManpowerGroup is seeking a Coatings Laboratory Technician in Houston, TX for a 9-month contract. You will support Scientists, Chemists, and Product Development teams with hands-on laboratory testing of coatings and related materials.

The role requires attention to detail, initiative, and strong organizational skills, with experience in a laboratory or technical environment and familiarity with MS Office. This position offers health, dental, vision, and retirement benefits and a collaborative

Qualifications

• Experience working in a laboratory, manufacturing, chemical, or technical environment.
• Ability to follow established testing procedures and accurately document results.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform laboratory testing of paints, coatings, cleaners, and pretreatment products.
• Evaluate, collect, and accurately record experimental and testing data.
• Assist in organizing and conducting experiments using established laboratory procedures.
• Prepare chemical formulations and coatings from raw ingredients while following safety guidelines.
• Enter and communicate project results through computer-based charts, tables, and laboratory documentation.
