Qualifications

• BS/MS/PhD in Chemistry, Polymer Science or Coatings preferred.
• 5–10 years of practical R&D or test lab experience.
• Experience in testing methodology for coatings, plastics, composites, polymers.
• DOE techniques and statistical analysis knowledge.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; ability to work independently and in a team.
• Willingness and ability to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Manage testing lab area and personnel.
• Coordinate test projects and iso-17025 program and certifications.
• Coordinate multi-site testing and interpret paint test specs and OEM testing processes.
• Administer ISO-17025-2017 program including audits, documentation and calibrations.
• Maintain laboratory equipment and weathering/DI water systems.
• Collaborate with internal and external testing labs; manage lab budgets.
